Position Summary: To use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test mechanical and electrical devices.
Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to): - Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Manufacturing Engineer.
- Use tools to make or repair parts and products
- Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products
- Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
- Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Essential Qualifications / Experience: - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
- Familiar with use of computers
- Attention to detail.
- Must have a basic reading/writing ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour EOE/Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabled
