**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

The Assembler IIs primary responsibilities are:

* Work in a safe, and courteous manner.

* Assemble ball screws to LSI and customer specifications.

* Use precision finishing methods to achieve ideal running characteristics for new, and repaired assemblies.

* Measuring work pieces and progress of work.

* Maintaining all tools and ensuring proper working order.

* Monitor products on a continuous basis to ensure quality standards

* Read and understand directions.

* Ability to load and unload parts with assistance into fixtures.

* Basic understanding of blueprints and work orders.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

None

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

High School Diploma /?GED or higher level education.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to use sound judgment and reasoning in all situations.

Ability to prioritize, managing time and workload efficient and effectively, while holding high standards, and attention to detail.

Basic math skills required

Ability to read precision gages: micrometers, calipers, etc

Ability to read a ruler or tape measure

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

Must be able to stand, and walk.

Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle and feel and be able to reach with hands and arms in any direction for an entire shift.

Must be able to see fine detail with the aid of a magnifying glass.

Must be able to concentrate on fine detail work for periods of 2+ hours.

Sitting for 2/3 of a shift or more; sit stand alternate

Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

**WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT**

Must hold a valid drivers license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
