Overview of the Position:Assemble several components into small to medium sized aircraft assemblies using blueprints and or work instructions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Utilize travelers and work instructions to assemble components without nonconformities* Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and schematics* Employ the use of fabrication and assembly tools i.e. rivet guns, drills, pneumatic grinders, bucking bars, etc.* Use of various hardware i.e. shear pins, various rivets types, hi-locs, Cleco, safety wire, etc.* Operate all shop equipment safely* Assist in other area as requiredOther Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Basic computer software* Problem solving* Work well with a team* Ability to use assembly and fabrication equipment
