If you want to grow and develop as a part of a team that is shaping an industry, then we're looking for the best to join us.Working at Dentsply Sirona you are able to:Develop faster - with our commitment to the best professional development.Perform better - as part of a high-performance, empowering culture.Shape an industry - with a market leader that continues to drive innovation.Make a difference -by helping improve oral health worldwide.ScopeUnder general direction from the Production Supervisor, the Assembler is responsible for safely assembling finished product using components, sub-assemblies, fasteners, and packaging material following all SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and compliance with all quality and regulatory requirements.Essential Functions* Review and follow all SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), Work Instructions, and/or drawings to determine required assembly finish on product, pack, and any special options to completion.* Check and maintain accurate inventory of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners to complete production orders.* Ability to safely operate power and hand tools to complete assigned tasks, as well as operate controls and safety stops on machines.* Follow all Company safety policies, rules, and procedures at all times; maintain a strong safety mindset. Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for work being performed.* Accurate completion of all documentation and production reporting following Company and Quality guidelines. Maintain accurate record of time spent and material used within established standards.* Perform basic arithmetic calculations for accurate production reporting.* Maintain a clean work environment aligned with Company standards.* Operate scan guns for production order/WIP processes and inventory.* Work and communicate in a team environment and/or independently as needed to achieve successful production and quality goals.* Promptly raise any safety, quality or production issues to appropriate parties, and work with support functions to quickly resolve issues.* Ability to cross train and rotate between various areas within the department throughout the shift.* Meet all production output goals as aligned with PPLH (Parts Per Labor Hour) standards and budget targets.* Assist with training new full time and/or temporary employees as needed in compliance with all safety, quality and production policies, rules, and procedures.* All other duties as assigned.Typical BackgroundEducation:* High school diploma or GED preferred.Certifications/Licensing:* N/AYears and Type of Experience:* Assembler I - Entry level position; can assemble, test, calibrate where applicable 25% or better of all products within respective cost center.* Assembler II - Previous manufacturing experience preferred; can assemble, test, calibrate where applicable 50% or better of all products within respective cost center.* Assembler III - Previous manufacturing experience necessary; can assemble, test, calibrate where applicable all products within respective cost center. Can assemble, test, calibrate where applicable at least 75% of production in non-assigned cost centers.
