JOB SUMMARY: An Assembler III interprets assembly procedures, assembly drawings, mechanical drawings and part lists to assemble products adhering to Best Manufacturing Practices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Use basic electronic measurement devices, typical manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures and hand tools
- Build and test basic products to specifications while meeting established quality guidelines
- Use tools and fixtures to prevent damage/scrap of parts and production down time
- Complete assigned jobs per established budget
- Wire bond and solder
- Work across multiple product lines if needed
- Follow verbal and written instructions from documented specification drawings and established procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Education: Associate degree
- Experience Years: 3-5 years
- Experience Type: Intermediate electro-mechanical assembly
- OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Manual dexterity
- Able to train other employees
WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Manufacturing Floor Based
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Able to sit at workstation/microscope 8+ hours per day
