Hiring Assemblers in Lenexa17/HR 1st ShiftJob DescriptionThe assembler position builds, mounts, calibrates, closes, and prepares parts for shipping in the Pressure department. Essential functions include pre-calibration, reading special calibrating sheets, building and calibrating all units from 100-700 series, reading blueprints and ISO procedures, working from a bill of material, and having knowledge of all model options and torque wrench charts. The assembler will work with application engineers on special calibrations, communicate with Sub-Weld, Sub-Assembly, and Quality Control, read and follow procedures to fill orders and pull parts, and assemble using a drill press, screwdrivers, and hammers. Additional responsibilities include building switches per order, calibrating every switch using a test stand, putting covers on switches, scaling the inside, closing orders in the computer, sending to the shipping department, organizing inventory, adhering to ISO 9001 guidelines, and maintaining a cooperative working relationship with company employees.Hard SkillsAssemblyProductionGeneral LaborJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Lenexa, Kansas.Work EnvironmentManufacturing facility.
