Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionCandidates will be working on the production floor where they will be responsible for the following:Read Blueprints and follow work instructionsUtilize testing equipment to ensure conformance to prescribed standardsWith proper certification, make minor adjustments/set up to production equipmentUtilize hand tools, such as crimpers, micrometers, wrench, wrench strap, torque wrench, and tape measureOccasionally train other operators on assigned skill setsOccasionally audit assembly operations against applicable work procedures and standardsInitial job duties:Cleaning and polishing the connector on cables, following that, candidates will be moving into more cable assembly.Hard SkillsRead BlueprintsUtilize testing equipmentMake minor adjustments to production equipmentUtilize hand toolsAssemblyKittingProductionSoft SkillsTraining other operatorsAuditing assembly operationsJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 640 Hour(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Elgin, Illinois.Work EnvironmentThe building is split into two departments where separate assembly takes place. Candidates will be working on the right side of the building (the HCS dept.). The environment is clean, climate controlled, well-lit, and very organized.
