Job Title Assembler Location North Charleston, SC 29418 US (Primary)

Job Type Short-Term Education High School / GED Travel None Security Clearance Required None Pay Range $20.00 - 35.00/hr Position Introduction Cimarron is seeking ***Assemblers*** to support a large aerospace and defense customer in North Charleston, SC. ***Although these positions are supporting a 1-year contract, these positions are full-time/benefited (i.e. PTO, 401(k), insurance) positions with Cimarron.*** The selected candidates must have the ability to support either a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedule, depending on business needs.

Key Duties

* Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.

* Select correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, hardware, etc.

* Drill, shim, install, fit, fasten, align, adjust, and perform the necessary pre-installation assembly work to accomplish the installation of structural components requiring the use of production and engineering prints to determine exact locations.

* Report job constraints such as errors caused by workmanship, defects in parts, materials, assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc., in accordance with Boeing procedures.

* Perform repairs, rework, functional checks, and the incorporation of authorized changes, etc.

* Remove and/or replace installed components and any related parts.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

* Due to facility requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.

* As a federal contractor, all Cimarron employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective December 8, 2021. Fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks after both doses of a two-dose vaccine or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine has been administered (FDA approved vaccines). Proof of vaccination will be required. * Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, engineering dispositions, and instructions.

* Must use safety glasses, safety harnesses, respirators, boot socks, and other pertinent safety equipment at all times.

* Exhibit exemplary housekeeping and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards.

* Maintain clean, neat, organized, and FOD-free work area.

* Possess understanding and knowledge of basic computer systems and programs.

* Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in elevated and/or confined spaces as required.

* Frequent overhead work may be required.

* Frequent overtime may be required.

* Previous experience working with aircraft structures.

* Ability to work any shift, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd as business needs change.

* High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more years of experience or Associate's degree.
