Job Summary: The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications.Pay Rate: $17.50/hr Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 12 hours shifts, including rotating weekends. On Call as needed Location: Colonial Heights, VADuties/Responsibilities:Attaching plastic handles onto items. Work with conveyor belts.Collecting items. Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Regularly checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities: Attention to detail. Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
