Spherion Staffing in Lakeland has partnered with a local manufacturing facility who is looking to add skilled assemblers to their growing team. Highlights: Day ShiftOvertime AvailableResponsibilities:- Assemble components as required- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure proper fit of components- Perform self inspection and test of equipment- Accurately report raw materials and inventory used in assembly- Look for defects and report any issues to shop lead- Meet all monthly safety requirements as established by the HSE Department- Attend all required site Safety Training sessions or complete and submit make-up materials to HSE.- Comply with all safety policies and guidelines.Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:- Ability to use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions- Ability to use judgment to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures- Must have basic tools of tradeEducation:TradeExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- 2 years of trades training or a minimum of one year experience with multiple part assemblies- Advanced knowledge of blueprints and layout work- Ability to work from detailed assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawingsClick to Apply!!We offer weekly Open Interviews on:Tuesday and Thursdays9 AM - 12pmCant make it during those times or you want to skip the wait....Text us today at 863-###-#### to schedule an interview!We are located at:1925 East Edgewood DriveSuite 102Lakeland, Florida 33803Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
