Our client in the conveyor assembly industry is seeking a Conveyor Technician to join their team. As a Conveyor Technician, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Assembly Team. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, demonstrate cooperation and collaboration while working toward team success and interested in seeking out new challenges which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title:Conveyor TechnicianLocation:Forest, VAPay Range:$16.00 per hourWhat's the Job?
- Work from assembly drawings, verbal instructions, work instructions and production boards to assemble a variety of sub-assemblies and/or finished assembly products to technical drawings and specifications
- Lubricate, align and adjust assemblies for proper operation
- Perform functional tests to meet specifications, quality checks and on-time deliveries
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to use hand tools (manual, air-drive and battery operated) to attach and fasten parts together
- Knowledge of measurement tools and ability to make accurate dimensional measurements
- Background check and drug screen
