We are seeking a Assembler for a very important client.Assembler performs repetitive bench and/or line assembly operations to ensure company device conforms to its specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Gives feedback to Supervisor regarding production progress.•Assembles product according to established procedures.•Works at different work stations, as production needs require.•Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required.•Works on line where tasks vary as different models of same articles move along the line.•Acts as a resource for other production personnel.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to touch, manipulate, handle, or feel production items or materials repetitively The employee frequently is required to stand and sit for extended periods of time The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.Closed-toe shoes are required Contracted workers are required to wear hairnet, gloves and lab coat in production areas Hearing protection (ear plugs) is required in the cartridge and auto bagger assembly lines Production rooms are kept at a constant temperature and humidity for assembly of the companies test cartridges.Requirement:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS •Ability to lift approximately 25lbs.•Ability to use various hand tools.•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.•This position may require irregular and extended hours of work, so the person hired must be capable of meeting the varied work hours.•This position requires attention to detail EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE •High school diploma •One year related assembly experience and/or training•Or, equivalent combination of education and experienceBenefits include:-MEC/ACP Medical-Voluntary Dental, Vision, Life, Supplemental Income-401k (must meet requirements)-sick leave as required by state/countyPay Rate Min/Max: $18 - $20
