Adecco is looking for an experienced Assembler in the Aurora, IL area. The client manufacturers Safety instrument products. This role is a temp to hire, meaning that the client will hire you on full time with them after a specified number of hours. Please view the requirements and qualifications below. If you meet the requirements and are interested in the role, APPLY NOW!Job title: Assembler (Soldering)Job SummaryThe candidate will work operating and inspecting value stream workstation output. They will operate and inspect all tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work. They will test and calibrate simple assemblies according to specifications. The candidate will perform assembly operations either by wire bonding, soldering, spot welding, staking or epoxyingSkill RequirementsMust-Have Requirements:· Ability to read a tape measure and understand measurements·Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.·Must have soldering experience (or certificate) preferred· Good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with small parts· Computer skills· Ability to readblueprintsPreferred Requirements:· Ability to work in a team setting and contribute to building a positive team spirit.·Two years experience· Basic knowledge of shop toolsSkill Education·Soldering: A process that joins the metal surfaces together using a filler metal called solder.·Hand cutting:Manual cutting techniques often used in fabrication.·Ability to read and write English.·Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment. (ruler, calipers, tape measure, scale)·Ability to carry 40 Lbs·Pressure testing:Testing method to ensure that hose assemblies are leak-proof.·Blueprint reading:The ability to read technical drawings that detail product specifications.Pay Details:$18.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
