Job Summary: Efficiently fulfill specific customer requirements for the assembly of several different types of thermometers with accuracy. Works individually and in a team to assemble various bi-metal thermometers and other digital devices.
Duties:- Assemble and pack various size bi-metal thermometers.
- Make adjustments and repair bi-metal thermometers.
- Complete tasks ahead of schedule while assisting others in completing projects on time.
- Help increase the efficiency of the department.
- Proactively communicate any problems early on.
- Participate in open and honest dialogue during meetings.
- Follow procedures as written and learn new processes.
- Abide by absence and tardiness guidelines.
- Read and understand required work instructions and inspection plans.
- Learn all steps in assembly processes for various products to rotate roles for safety and demand.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Prepare accurate data and input it as required in the SyteLine system.
Physical Activity: While performing this job, employees are required to:
- Stand for up to eight hours or more.
- Use hands and fingers to perform tasks.
- Walk, talk, hear, and occasionally stoop, bend, or kneel.
- Lift/carry up to 15 lbs.
- Visual abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
Qualifications: Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
- 1 year of assembly experience preferred
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
