Volt is immediately hiring for Assembler in Sylmar, CAPosition Type: Full time contractDuration: 3 months to possible extensionSHIFT: 5 AM to 2:30 PMAs an Assembler you will
- Performs the processes necessary for the fabrication and production of Solar Cells.
- Performs the processes necessary for growth of semiconductors, including operation of MOCVD vacuum system, Metal Organic material handling and X-Ray Diffraction.
- Performs a variety of technical manufacturing production assembly operations where accurate visual acuity and manual dexterity are required to fabricate production solar cell assemblies and solar panels for space applications.
- Perform hand soldering, wire harness assembly and component bonding
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent or military/ work experience.
