Job Title: Assembler - Small PanelJob DescriptionYou will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. Your duties include wiring the power systems and assembling electrical components. You must read schematics and engineering drawings for assembly, and use hand and power tools including power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measure. This is a non-climate-controlled environment, and you will be required to stand for the entire shift. You may also need to stand on ladders for assembly, as units can reach up to 8 feet in height.Hard SkillsRead and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawingsWiring electrical componentsUtilize hand tools and power toolsRead tape measureJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida.Work EnvironmentThis is a large, open bay production facility with multiple work stations and bays. The production floor is NOT climate controlled. Industrial-sized ceiling fans keep the air moving, but it is not air-conditioned. There are forklifts and manufacturing machinery present. Contractors will wear safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs if needed. The shift is 6:00 am-4:30 pm (M-F) and 6:00 am-12:30 pm on Saturdays.
