Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves the assembly of products, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, gauges and measuring devices, specialized torque equipment, electrical testing equipment, fork trucks, and lifting devices/cranes.Responsibilities also include supporting the safety, quality, and production goals of the area, utilizing computer skills for various applications, and reading and interpreting standard work in computer programs, engineering prints, and factory paperwork.Hard SkillsProficiency with hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret engineering prints and factory paperworkStrong attention to detail as not all engines and transmissions are the same; they are customized based on the customer's needsSoft SkillsStrong technical learning abilitiesCommitment to safety and quality standardsEffective communication and teamwork skillsJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Lafayette, Indiana.Work EnvironmentOur manufacturing environment is split between an assembly side and a machine shop, with temperature control throughout. We maintain a relaxed dress code and prioritize a clean facility.
