Summary:
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and disassembling components and products while also ensuring that the finished products meet our quality standards. You must be able to work in fast-paced environments and have excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
An assembler is primarily capable of performing assemblies, usually putting parts together following instructions from a blueprint or assembly manual. Assembly work is typically a manual process. You may be putting pieces together by hand or using various hand tools. So manual dexterity is a plus. Fine motor control, strong hand, and eye coordination are also helpful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Inspect components and finished assemblies for accuracy and quality
Align components and adjust clearances to ensure proper fit
Utilize measuring equipment and gauges to ensure proper assembly
Follow safety protocols at all times
Maintain accurate inventory records
Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies
Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly issues
Communicate with co-workers and supervisors
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Demonstrated experience as an Assembler
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Ability to use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Ability to identify potential safety hazards
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Ability to maintain accurate production records
Ability to use basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
