Assembler Position Summary: The Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts and other components into small or light sub-assemblies and complete units. Assembler Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:
- Assembles components of or final production using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Hand tools and small power tools are used to assemble units.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Assembler Experience and/or Education:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate);
- Require 1+ year of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using hand tools and small power tools
Assembler Essential Skills and/or Abilities:
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within an assembly role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Dependability is a must; must adhere to company attendance policy
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong quality and efficiency standards
- Ability to work both as a team or individually
