Position Summary:
Responsible for assembling a variety of products, with a focus on thru-hole PC boards. This role requires precise fitting, adjusting, and aligning of components to meet close tolerances. The Electronics Assembler will use hand-soldering techniques, follow established procedures, and report production metrics via an on-line bar code system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire complex equipment according to blueprints and model prints, with close attention to detail.
- Perform thru-hole PCB assembly.
- Follow standard work cell procedures.
- Set up and operate basic production machines, such as component trim, Amp, and riveting machines.
- Flexibly assist with various production tasks within and outside of primary department.
- Solder thru-hole components to commercial quality specifications.
- Use hand and power tools as needed.
- Report labor and production quantities via the on-line bar code system.
- Meet quality standards within an ISO environment and work overtime as required.
Skills and Experience:
- 1 3 years of electronic assembly experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and identify components and color codes.
- Strong hand-soldering skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
