Position Summary Under limited supervision, performs electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, and wiring of moderate complexity. Works from production and assembly drawings, parts list, diagrams, schematics and verbal/written instructions within a Lean Manufacturing environment. Essential Job Functions
- Ability to follow processes while maintaining process control.
- Capable of reading drawings
- Use of hand tools, including power tools
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Complete final test of the finished product by following standard test procedure and adhering to one-piece flow
- Collect and input data into various systems, as required
- Cross-train within the production cell to learn additional assembly, kitting and packaging operations
- Maintain quality standards
- Mechanical assembly of company products
Job Requirements Minimum Security Clearance: No Clearance Education/License Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience Requirements
- Prior assembly experience
- Experience reading assembly drawings
- Prior experience in electronic and electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assemblies
- Wiring, soldering experience is not required, however, it is preferred
