Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will be responsible for inspecting, wrapping, and maintaining cleanliness in your work area. The position operates Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the importance of safety, quality, and teamwork.100% inspect work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.Read and interpret work instructions correctly.Wrap work pieces in appropriate wrapping materials and place wrapped parts in shipping containers.Maintain cleanliness of work area and general housekeeping.Report any unsafe conditions to management.Inform the supervisor of broken or damaged tooling that needs replacement.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency with hand tools.Experience in assembly work.Additional Skills & QualificationsFrequent mental and visual attention required.Specific vision abilities needed: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Physical capability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.Regularly required to stand, and occasionally walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Why Work HereWork in a clean environment with a company partnering with a large government contractor.
