Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Assemblers for projects located in Ruther Glen, VA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $20/hr based on experience and skill level. If you are an Assembler eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!
Job Scope:
+ Assemble and install various components of manufactured products
+ Perform minor repairs as necessary to ensure product quality
+ Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine material needs and the sequence of assembly
+ Provide on-the-job training to new employees
+ Follow company procedures for ordering, storing, receiving, and returning materials and tools
Requirements:
+ Background check (BG/DS) clearance required
+ Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
+ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
+ Basic English communication skills (50% proficiency); bilingual candidates are encouraged
+ Able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 60 pounds
+ Comfortable working at heights (up to 60 feet) and using ladders and lifts
+ Physically fit to perform tasks like walking, lifting, squatting, and reaching overhead
+ Good vision (correctable) and the ability to hear and communicate effectively
+ Ability to recognize and report potential issues
