Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionCandidates will be working in two different areas: the assembly or the mulling department. In the assembly department, they will be putting components and weather stripping into windows, ensuring the seal is tight, and using small hand tools to perform these duties. Candidates will be standing for their entire 10-hour shift in an assembly line because each person relies on the person behind them. In the mulling department, candidates will be building the wooden frames around the windows so they are ready to be installed directly into homes. They will use power tools and staple guns to perform this job. Candidates will be standing for their entire 10-hour shift, however, they will be working independently.ResponsibilitiesAssemble components and weather stripping into windows.Ensure seals are tight using small hand tools.Stand for the entire 10-hour shift in an assembly line.Build wooden frames around windows using power tools and staple guns.Work independently in the mulling department.Essential SkillsExperience with hand and power tools.Ability to read a tape measure.6+ months of previous assembly, construction, landscaping, packaging, or general labor experience.6+ months of hand tools experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications6+ months of construction, carpentry, or industrial assembly experience.6+ months of power tools experience.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where your skills and hard work are valued. Steel-toed boots are not required, but closed-toed tennis shoes or work boots are necessary. Jeans are required, but cut-off shirts are acceptable. Safety glasses and ear protection are provided and required. The environment can be warm in the summers, and candidates will be standing on their feet for 10-hour days.
