Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Assembler with control panel assembly experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess skills in drilling, tapping, and reading a tape measure. This position involves wiring control panels for elevators, point-to-point wiring, and working with various gauge wires. You will utilize hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks.ResponsibilitiesPlan and perform a wide variety of shop floor assembly installations.Mechanically fasten electronic/electrical components to electrical panels and enclosures.Work from bill of material (B.O.M.) and shop floor routing to obtain necessary parts and components.Inspect components for defects and damage prior to installation/assembly.Determine the location and placement of electrical assemblies, controls, and components using electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, written, verbal, and personal knowledge.Use common assembly hand and power tools for drilling, tapping, and measuring.Essential SkillsAt least two years of experience in assembly.Experience in control panel assembly.Proficiency in drilling, tapping, and reading a tape measure.Ability to perform point-to-point wiring and work with various gauge wires.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in wiring control panels for elevators.Proficiency in working from electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Ability to work from bill of material (B.O.M.) and shop floor routing.Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections of components.Why Work Here?You will have the opportunity to grow into roles in quality control or testing.
