Who We're Looking For: As a key member of the Operations team, the Assembler will assemble, inspect, and package the Company's medical device products. Level I - $18.00/hour Level II - $20.00/hour Senior - $22.00/hour *Level depends on skillset and experience About the Role:
- Perform a variety of basic assembly processes, such as: cutting, bonding, wrapping, cleaning, etc.
- Conduct quality self-inspection of all assemblies processed.
- Show constant attention to detail, and immediately inform supervisor of anything out of the ordinary, or anything which does not conform to the approved process sheets.
- Follow and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Follow approved process sheets or authorized deviations (TVAs), for all stages of product processing.
- Complete training and understand documentation needed to comply with Laborie's quality system policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED or relevant experience.
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
- Individuals will need to stand for extended periods. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday. Ability to lift 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
- Ability to read, understand and communicate in the English language preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience in light assembly, packaging, and shipping environment preferred.
- Forklift/pallet jack operator certification preferred.
