Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking skilled assemblers to build modular solar units according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and blueprints. You will work on a line with a team of five assemblers, building the frame and structural components for each section of the unit, and then locking in the solar panel into each portion of the frame. The units fold up accordion style and will be strapped in for shipment. You will use a job crane to move the material and frame, as well as hand tools, power tools, and air tools to assemble the units.
Responsibilities - Build modular solar units according to SOPs and blueprints.
- Work on a production line with a team of five assemblers.
- Assemble the frame and structural components of the units.
- Lock in the solar panels into the frame sections.
- Use a job crane to move materials and frames.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and air tools for assembly.
- Ensure units are properly folded and strapped for shipment.
Essential Skills - 5+ years of assembly experience.
- 3+ years of heavy assembly experience (assembling units, heavy packages, etc.).
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency with air tools and power tools.
- Experience operating overhead cranes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Mechanical assembly experience.
- Familiarity with torque tools and schematics.
- Experience in assembly production and processes.

Work Environment The work environment is open aired, requiring steel-toed shoes and a long sleeve shirt. This is an 8-month contract with a high likelihood of extension. The work shifts are as follows: 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm (with potential early start at 6am) and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 12am (with potential late stay until 1am).
