We are hiring an experienced Assembler with a safety mindset and prior aerospace/defense industry experience. If you have two years of wire harness assembly experience within electromechanical environments, apply today for this exciting direct-hire opportunity!Pay: $20-$25 per hour1st Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-FridayEssential Functions:* Read and interpret wire harness assembly instructions and blueprints for the accurate construction of cable assemblies.* Gather and organize necessary materials, tools, and components to perform work efficiently.* Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards and detailed instructions.* Perform a range of hand assembly tasks, including crimping, stripping, and twisting wires based on precise specifications.* Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire strippers, and wire twisters.* Use a soldering iron to solder wires to switches, connectors, and other components as needed.* Conduct functional tests and continuity testing on wire harnesses and cable assemblies using test fixtures.* Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products to ensure conformance to quality standards.Employee Benefits: A phenomenal benefits package will be disclosed by our client upon hire including 75% company-paid healthcare benefits, retirement plans, career advancement opportunities, and more!Requirements:* 2-3 years of experience in wire harness assembly within electromechanical environments (Aerospace, Ground Defense, Energy, Mass Transit, or Naval Defense).* Proficient in using hand tools (e.g., crimping tools, soldering irons, calipers), and assembling electronic components.* Strong ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.* Experience in performing inspections, both visual and dimensional, to ensure high-quality assembly standards.
