Job Title: Assembly Operator - Wire and Cable Harness Production Location: Lancaster, OH Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $17
Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Assembly Operator to join our team in Lancaster, OH. The ideal candidate will perform various tasks related to the assembly of wire and cable harnesses, including both repetitive and non-repetitive operations. This position requires strong manual dexterity, the ability to work with small components and electronic pieces, and the ability to stand or sit for 7-8+ hours a day. The Assembly Operator will use a variety of tools such as tweezers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, cable cutters, crimping machines, and more. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Produce wire harness and cable assemblies using hand and/or power tools (crimpers, drills, soldering tools, wire strippers, etc.).
+ Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specifications to define sequence of operations, parts list, and dimensions.
+ Follow assembly router instructions for manufacturing wire harness and cable assemblies.
+ Select and install dies, jigs, and applicators for crimping/terminating machines.
+ Perform hand crimping, hand stripping of wires, cables, and electrical terminals.
+ Conduct in-process inspections, continuity checks, and pull tests in accordance with quality specifications.
+ Collaborate with the management team to improve assembly processes and documentation.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
General Requirements:
+ Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required.
+ Ability to work well in teams or independently.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
+ Willingness to ask questions, seek help, and follow instructions.
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed and assist in other departments.

Responsibilities

precision measuring instruments, etc.)
o Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specifications to define
sequence of operations, type & size of cable fittings, parts list, quantity, and finished
dimensions
o Ability to read and understand the assembly router for step-by-step instructions on how
to manufacture the wire harness and cable assembly
o Selects and installs dies, jigs, applicators, or other accessories in crimping/terminating
machines
o Perform hand crimping and hand stripping of wires, cables, and electrical terminals
o Conduct in-process inspections, continuity checks, and pull tests on product in
accordance with quality specifications
o Work collaboratively with Management team to correct and improve upon any
documents related to the assembly process
o Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
