Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Assembler Mold Operator.The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The hours for first shift are as follows; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:Primary FunctionSets up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions. box and bag production, keep track of quantities boxed. Ability to read blue prints, use measuring tools and perform required Quality functions per Work Orders.Essential Functions• Primary function is to maintain the operation of all molding presses within the molding department.• Perform all quality, inspection operations and routing systems as stated on the Work Order.• Perform “All” packaging operations including bagging, boxing and (May require lifting 30 pounds or more)• Perform work with limited to no supervision.• Train and assist new Mold AssemblerQualifications:Required Qualifications• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.• Experience with Various hand tools, assembly tooling fixtures and machines, heat sealer, stencil machine, typewriter, copy machine, scale, thread gauges.• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Camarillo will be considered for this position.• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualification• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations• Ability to use calculators• Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools• Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown• Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts• Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown• Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts• Ability to set-up and run production on Auto Bagger and Label machines.• Complete understanding of blueprint, inspection of parts, Eaton Camarillo workflow, and routing systems.• Ability to monitor production on All the Presses for the entire Plastic Injection Molding Department.• Interface with Set-up Technicians and the Dept.
