Don't wait - apply today! 3rd shift - 8pm-6am, 10pm-8amRELATED JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for operating more than one type of assembly machinery in more than one department in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.Gather, arrange position, fit, fasten, install, and/or assemble parts on production units as instructed by supervisor or authorized personnel.Must be able to perform satisfactorily under timed or paced assembly line conditions while maintaining high quality and consistency of work.Must be qualified in all assembly jobs.Responsible for the quality of work performed and recognizing defects in parts and assemblies.Monitor assemblies completed at other workstations and perform subsequent checks to ensure critical elements of the assembly process are completed correctly.Count parts as needed. Notify supervisor, lift driver and/or stock-chaser of pending parts shortages.Detect and report unusual conditions to supervisor.Keep facilities, material, and work area orderly, exercising care in use.Maintain good housekeeping practices. Conform to all safety and quality requirements.This list is not all inclusive. Other tasks may be assigned as required.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:Be at least 16 years of age. Have dependable transportation. Must submit to and pass any required testing. (background, drug screening, skills testing) Have within the normal range of hearing and eyesight. Be able to work the day, night, or overnight shifts. Be able to work in harmony with others. Must possess problem-solving skills and be a self-starter. Must be able to read and comprehend policies and procedures / rules and regulations written or spoken in English. Must adhere to all safety requirements of Sizemore and any applicable job assignment. Must possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations. Education: High School diploma or GED required; College or Vocational School degree is preferred. Work Experience:Experience in an industrial environmentSuccessfully complete all required training classes, either as prerequisite for selection or to ongoing skill building training.As may be required, forklift driver training and certificationPhysical / Mental Requirements: May be required to lift or carry parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights not to exceed seventy-five (75) pounds.
