KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Job Duties Read, interpret, and follow basic work instructions/Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. Utilize handheld tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, electric impact guns or operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain inventory of workstations, delivering and presenting parts to line side operations, setting up and maintaining Parts Stores, loading and unloading equipment and parts from trucks, moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, stacking goods in correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions, performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the trucks battery and lubricating equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. -Work Pace/Standardized Workconsistent work pace on each operation; utilizes time well; performs job within required time as specified on process documentation; comfortable in performing operation. Always follows operation per documented instruction. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will: -Must be customer service and quality driven -Strong hands on aptitude with a good sense of balance along with good eye-hand coordination -5 years Forklift certification per OSHA standards for Production Control and/or Warehouse positions -Ability to comprehend and execute work assignments with minimal follow up -Is self-motivated with the ability to be crossed trained skills -Strong organizational skills -Observant, high attention to detail, and quality conscious -Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea -Ability to work independently as well in a team environment -Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with listening skills. -Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent with two or more years related experience and training.
