Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Chelmsford, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and mid-range to high-complexity sub-assemblies.
  • Duties include installing connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often using paste and sheet epoxies.
  • They will also work on detailed soldering of components and assemblies per drawings and specifications.
  • Connectors, substrates, components, and modules are installed in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.
  • Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and mid-range to high-complexity sub-assemblies.
  • Perform surface mount, fine pitch, and through-hole soldering.
  • Meet high criteria for quality and output regularly.

Pay: $37.31/hr.

Hours: 4/10A-1st Shift.

Length: Temp (11 Months).

Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
  • Active J-STD-001 Certification.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices.
  • Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
  • Able to work with miniaturized tools such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers, and soldering irons.
  • Able to work with precision and follow standardized, existing procedures.
  • Able to attach wires to load cell tabs by following schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.
  • Good computer skills are necessary to support retrieving drawings, work instructions, and other job activities.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Good interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.

  • Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers.
  • Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
