(SDI) as an Assembler. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate within a casual and creative team environment to design, develop, and deliver innovative customer solutions driving continuous improvement and enabling mission-critical improvements that make our world more safe, efficient, and reliable.
*This is an exciting opportunity to grow your Engineering career at SDI, a portfolio company within the Anova family, located in West Fargo, ND, where we work hard, we have fun, and we work together to build electrical harness assemblies for OEMs and others in the construction, agricultural, trucking, electronic, and recreational industries.*
What youll do:
* Assemble wiring harnesses on scaled engineering drawings to meet customer specifications and ensure quality product
* Install wiring harness coverings and electrical tape at specific locations
* Adhere to all company procedures and safety guidelines, including using proper lifting technique, to avoid injury
* Collaborate across multiple teams and departments to support production as needed
* Perform light cleaning duties as assigned
What youll need to succeed:
* Mechanical & Electrical aptitude and ability
* An effective communicator and team player with a hands-on, rollup the sleeves attitude to juggle multiple projects and workstreams
* Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity, as well as experience operating a variety of equipment for use of basic hand tools, tape measures, blueprints, schematics, etc.
* Ability to work while standing, or while seated, for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours with 3 daily breaks) and to sustain repetitive motions and perform repetitive lifting (up to 25 pounds unassisted)
* High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
