Summary:
Under direct supervision, assist in performing basic soldering, and assembly operations on subassemblies.
Requirements
* Read and interpret basic assembly diagrams.
* Perform basic soldering tasks on circuits.
* Perform mechanical assembly of basic chassis and final assemblies.
* Apply RTV, conformal coating, epoxy, and potting materials under supervision.
* Perform basic continuity checks and minor rework as needed.
* Follow IPC Manufacturing Standards with guidance.
* Assist in assembling loads and backplanes.
* Follow provided assembly instructions.
Qualifications
* High School or technical trade school graduate preferred, or training in military service.
* Understanding of wiring and assembly; 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred.
* IPC Certification is a plus.
Language Skills
* Must be fluent in written English. Good interpersonal skills required.
Other Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge and able to use assembly tools such as soldering irons, pliers, cutters, etc.
