About the Opportunity:•Job Title: Assembler•Pay: $20/Hour•Location: Brooklyn Park, MN•Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thurs 5:30AM-3PM and Fri 5:30AM-9AM or Mon-Thurs 5AM-3PM and Fri 5AM-9AM. O/T is required from time to time.Daily functions:

Performs all duties and responsibilities with an emphasis on safety.

With close supervision, operates most types of equipment by controlling their operation.

Assemble all metal hardware (hinges, slam latch, spring packages, pyro latches, etc.).

Work with team members to maximize productivity.

Keep the area well organized and clean.

Work within all safety guidelines.

Cross train on various machines and in various departments to fill in when needed.

Communicate with entire team to reach company goals.

Performs frequent quality checks.

Use hand and power tools.

Misc. projects and other duties as assigned.

Desired qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

1+ years of recent assembly, production, or manufacturing experience.

Capable of reading blueprints and understanding work orders.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Ability to us power tools such as a drill.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly during the shift.

Regularly bends, twists, stoops, pushes, pulls, and reaches with hands and arms. Must be able to stand or sit as needed for the entire shift.

Very keen vision and hearing is required.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Must have good physical strength and stamina, good hand-eye coordination and good dexterity in hand manipulation and muscle coordination.
