Job Title: Assembly A Job Code: 16430 Job Location: Cincinnati, OH Schedule: 4/10 hour days, 1st shift Job Description: - Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Essential Functions: - Ability to read and understand description of manufacture (DM, DOM) for operation assembly instruction.
- Ability to handle small parts with tweezers and/ or special tools
- Operate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, press stakers, air screw drivers, etc.) with proper training.
- Visually inspect components and subassemblies for obvious defects prior to, during, and after assembled.
- Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs.
- Maintain assembly/ quality records paperwork as required.
Qualifications: - Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in some type of manufacturing environment
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance if required.
Preferred Additional Skills: - Experience with various types of precision measurement tools (micrometers, go/no-go gauges, etc) and blueprint reading required.
- Experience in a manufacturing assembly environment

- Ability to sit for long periods of time while working
