Job Title: Assembly A Job Code: 15954 Job Location: Tempe, AZ Job Schedule: Compressed Shift 1B (e/o Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat: 5am - 5pm) Job Description: Tube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules.
Essential Functions: - Work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to cleanroom protocols. This includes wearing a bunny suit and appropriate PPE as required.
- Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
- Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.
- Identify and correct non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
- Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products.
- Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
- Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.
- Must be able to clearly read and write in English.
Qualifications: - Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills: - Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to lift 3-5 lbs. and complete repeat tasks
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- High level of attention to detail
- Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call offs
- Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as required
