Assembly Associate summary Our client is seeking an Assembly Associate to help their team for two months plus. They are looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have prior experience in assembly and be perfectly comfortable lifting 60-75 lbs. on a regular basis. This position does require basic mechanical ability and experience with tape measures and basic math. Assembly Associate responsibilities
- Will pay $17-18
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
- Willingness to learn how read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly.
- Have the ability to use a tape measure and perform simple math.
- Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.
- Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment.
- Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.
Assembly Associate qualifications
- Experience in assembly, shop labor, or related fields
- Ability to lift 60-70 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Basic math
- Basic Mechanical ability
- Experience with hand tools
Assembly Associate skills
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Experience in assembly work
- Experience with tape measure
- Basic math and communication skills
