The Assembly Coordinator will oversee assembly line operations to ensure efficient production, quality assurance, and timely completion of production schedules. This role requires hands-on leadership in managing assembly staff, optimizing workflow, maintaining inventory, ensuring safety, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate must be a proactive solutions provider, capable of identifying challenges and delivering effective, innovative solutions to meet business needs. All duties will be performed within safety, quality, and production standards. Fluency in English is required for this position, as effective communication is essential for successful job performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily assembly operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource use.
- Supervise and train the assembly team to meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
- Conduct quality checks and collaborate with quality control to maintain high standards.
- Manage inventory and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
- Ensure health and safety compliance, conducting regular safety checks and addressing hazards.
- Troubleshoot issues on the assembly line to improve workflow and minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management on production status.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production planning and engineering, to improve processes and resolve bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly line or manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with production scheduling, inventory management, and safety protocols.
- Experience with Lean or continuous improvement practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
