This position requires close attention to detail. This position also requires you to be able to accurately identify numbers, and climb up and down a ladder frequently.Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions - 95%* Assemble kits by pulling parts based off of work order* Reading work order to determine urgency as well as item locations* Scan completed work orders into the system entering the quantity pulled* Stock purchased parts and components* Access the location matrix in the system to accurately determine item locations* Supports the team as needed throughout production and with employee needs* Perform any other job responsibilities directed by management as business dictates* Fork Lift Certified - this is done on the jobSafety Training, Team Meetings & Lean concepts - 5%* Participates in safety and skill training and demonstrates a high regard for safety at all times* Attends team meetings* Utilizes lean tools: 6s, visual factory concepts in maintaining order, cleanliness, and a safe work environment* Must be willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment while performing the job as required by the company* Maintain a safe work area by working safely, following safety guidelines, and wearing required personal protective equipmentEducation and/or ExperiencePreferred - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Core Competencies required from Employees* Must be able to competently operate a computer* Ability to read work orders and accurately identify numbersTakes Ownership - Demonstrates a continuous drive to achieve superior results and takes responsibility for those results.Is a Team Player - Has the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others to achieve common goals. Recognizes situations in which team members need to work together to solve work tasks at hand.Achieves Quality Results - Flawlessly executes objectives to ensure the long-term success of the organization.Key Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualities RequiredLanguage Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Mathematical Skills - Ability to read measuring scales, tape measure, micrometers, and calipers. Ability to apply concepts of basic math including angels.Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
