We specialize in providing high-volume contingent staffing, direct hire staffing and project based solutions to companies worldwide ranging from startups to Fortune 500 and Managed Service Providers (MSP) across a wide variety of industries.Notes:Candidate with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred.Hands on experience with hand tools and machine equipment preferred.Interview: Video call and STAR format for 60 minutesJob Description:Who we're looking for Our Client's Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Engineer-Assembly Equipment.The primary responsibility of this role is to support in development and implementation of new model preparation at NAMC (North America Manufacturing Centers) sites.Reporting to the Assembly Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Engineering Assembly department's objective to support Assembly Process and Equipment Development for new model launch, refurbishment and Kaizen.What you'll be doing (10%) Project Planning for upcoming model changes(20%) Simultaneous Engineering for assembly of vehicle with TMC & TTC(70%) Project Management over process setup & equipment procurement3d CAD/Modeling + 2d drawing studyVehicle structure studyEquipment designEquipment installationProcess designSupporting new vehicle trialsClose collaboration between both internal and external groups across Our Client including NAMCs, TMC, TTC, PE support shops, & Plano divisionsWhat you bring: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Tech, or equivalent experience in an Assembly Engineering position (yes/no- 4 years)Experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Preparation (min 2 years-text above 4 years or more 1asset)Experience with Equipment Sourcing and Installation (min 2 years-text above 4 years or more 1asset)Experience with 3D modeling and prototype part printing (min 1 year – text above 4 years or more 1asset)Ability to work up to 20% overtime when requiredAbility to travel up to 20% to all NAM's as well as Japan only as required.What you may bringExperience in 1 or more new model launch preparation (yes/no-text)Assembly Production Engineering experience (yes/no-text)Equipment Controls experience (yes/no-text)Completion of TBP through panel (yes/no)At KAYGEN, we are always looking for dynamic, talented and experienced individuals.
