Work for the Smart Safety CompanyRoll Rite, a Safe Fleet company, and a leader in the truck equipment manufacturing industry, is looking for a Manufacturing Assembly associate to work as part of a team manufacturing and assembling of Automated Tarp Systems. This important team member partners with others to manufacture Roll-Rite systems according to company processes. The Manufacturing Assembly associate performs basic wiring and assembles components.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Processing parts. Perform saw, mill, or drill press operations. Read a tape measure, use hand tools and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment. Must be able to read manufacturing prints. Read and understand work orders and work instructions. Assemble parts and sub-assemblies. Routine daily equipment maintenance. Confirm quality of product. Prepare product for shipment. Maintain product workspace. Ability to cross train in other areas and departments. Follows all safety guidelines and wears proper personal protective equipment. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using fractions. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. Working environment is a climate-controlled manufacturing/warehouse facility. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. A minimum level of physical dexterity is required.
