Now Hiring Entry Level Assembly Maintenance Techs in the South Charlotte AreaSchedule: 4 Day 10-hour Shift (OT opportunities) Pay: $17 to $18 per hour As an Assembly Maintenance Tech, you are an integral part of the manufacturing team, supporting and coordinating all assembly processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve multiple tasks based on direction from the Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor.
- Work efficiently, either independently or in small teams.
- Maintain self-discipline to meet goals with minimal supervision.
- Assemble components using blueprints/drawings with high attention to detail.
- Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any issues.
- Test equipment using a multi-meter, complete test reports, and maintain records.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning.
- Organize tools and maintain a clean work area.
- Safely operate hand tools and cranes to move large equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist the Field Service team at job sites as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in assembly or mechanical work (manufacturing preferred).
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using tape measures.
- Job-shop fabrication experience and forklift operation (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively with a team.
- Mechanically inclined, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
