The ideal candidate will be able to produce parts which have already completed first articles verification; Collaborate with other Assembly Mechanics to produce medium complexity assemblies, and is capable of the bonding and fabrication of a majority of subcomponents and lower-level detail parts.Assembly Mechanic 1 Responsibilities:• Learn to problem solve and troubleshoot producibility challenges;• Build low to medium complexity assemblies and lower level detail parts;• Exposure to processes within potting and bonding work center (Fill and fair, install insert and edge pot);• Exposure to custom fabrication of parts, applying décor per finish requirements;• With minimal assistance perform complex repairs on components as required by the customer;• Exposure with shop equipment drill motors, pneumatic tools, band saws, drill presses, various tool grinders, Rivet gun and bucking bar, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, nut runner;• Exposure in use of Chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes;• Exposure to electrical and structural part drawings;• Other duties as assigned Additional descriptionSafran Cabin headquarters are in Huntington Beach, California, with a global presence of over 11,000 employees at 36 sites.
