We are searching for an experienced Assembly Operator - 2nd Shift at our Newburyport, MA - Bld 10 location.Rochester Electronics is hiring immediately for Assembly Operators - 2nd Shift!Responsibilities involve operating microelectronics assembly equipment, including die and wafer processing, chip-and-wire assembly, assembly of various components, screening, visual inspection, measurement, and sorting of semiconductor devices. The role includes Quality Assurance-level inspection responsibilities.Operation of manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment with supervisionInspection of die and packages to various Military and Jedec standards using high and low-power microscopesFollows defined specifications and reaction paths or written/verbal instructionUse multiple hand tools to manually process delicate products without damaging componentsTrain other employees on basic equipment operation and assembly processMaintain well-organized and audit-ready work areasUtilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter dataMinimum Requirements:A high school diploma or GED is requiredBasic computer skillsGreat attention to detailRochester Electronics is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
