The Assembly Operator will be responsible for assembling components, subassemblies, or products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure products are assembled to meet company standards.salary: $18.5 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesOpen and unpack chassis and components to be used for server assemblyInstall/replace brackets, and labelsIntegration of computer parts into a chassis on a progressive lineUtilizing small hand tools to install small screws and parts into a chassisAssemble handles and affix switches and ing labelsInstallation of rails to elevation on rack specificationsPackaging finished racksIdentify and scan labels for rack specificationMay be required to assist with recycling materialsAssemblers will follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures for product assembly operationsAny other tasks assignedThe essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 8 hours at one timeworking up to 4 hrs of overtime per weekSkillsCarryingCuttingFittingMoldingMaterial HandlingMath and CalculationBlueprint ReadingInstructingLiftingQualificationsYears of experience: 1 yearExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
