Job Description:To assemble parts in an assigned area until final product is complete.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Read and follow the SOP at each designated station within an Assembly cell.
- Quality-check each piece produces against set aesthetic standards.
- Keep designated station full of needed parts for job assigned.
- Learn job duties at multiple stations within assigned cell.
- Flexibility to rotate from one assigned cell or manufacturing facilities to another based on production needs.
- Keep work area clean with expected housekeeping.
- Work unsupervised and handle multiple tasks.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:REQUIRED:
- Moderate proficiency in English
- Standing for long periods of time
- Able to read SOP in English
PREFERRED:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience
- High level of manual dexterity
Working conditions:Position is located at our Cookeville, TN or Algood, TN manufacturing facility. This facility is heated and cooled. Employee will be working with and near moving mechanical parts.
Physical requirements:Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly Frequent use of drill drivers is required in Assembly process. A drug screen is required prior to employment. A physical may also be required as employment terms.
