Job Title: Medical Device Production and Packaging Operator

Company: Leading Top 15 global medical device company

Location: Northridge, CA, 91324

Hourly Rate: $19.50-21.25/hour (weekend OT at 1.5x pay rate)

Shifts:

- Shift 1: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

- Shift 2: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

- Shift 3: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Monday to Friday)

*Weekends with overtime pay.*

Summary of Position:

As a Production Operator, you will work collaboratively in a team environment to manufacture and package transdermal products. This includes handling Transdermal devices such as EPI pens, preloaded vaccines, and IDD devices like inhalers and filling canisters for inhalers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in packaging and filling operations.
  • Housekeeping duties, cleaning lines, and managing/disposing of hazardous waste.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance requirements, including gowning, PPE usage (including wearing a respirator for the entire shift).
  • Locate, pick, and stage raw materials and in-process materials as necessary at your workstation.
  • Take ownership of your training and certification progress.
  • Exercise good judgment and promptly escalate any unusual situations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in reading, writing legibly, understanding, and communicating in English.
  • Competent in weighing items and possessing general math knowledge, including metric conversions and percentages.
  • Willingness to learn how to inspect for material or product defects, print quality, and/or labeling defects.
  • Good manual dexterity to perform semi-repetitive tasks.
  • Occasional lifting of up to approximately 45 pounds may be required.
  • Prior experience in medical device production lines, repetitive work, manufacturing, biotech, or warehouse production settings.
