This position requires ability to inspect, assemble and pack castings following specific instructions and established procedures as well as to perform a variety of frequent motion duties to load and unload castings from conveyors and to sort according to specification. Load iron castings (generally weighing between 2-12 pounds) onto automated paint line. Remove castings from paint line and put in bins according to part number when unloading. Read and follow operation sheet detailing steps to follow while packing. Perform visual quality checks for processing defects. Manually assemble components and related materials as required with product\Use spray paint and screwdriver as required. Build boxes, and pack casting and components in appropriate boxes labeled and sealed as necessary. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner, and apply 5-S program.
